California will receive the largest share of HUD’s new round of funding to fight homelessness.  Specifically, Southern California will receive $380 million, and Orange County is allotted $23 million.  U.S. Housing Secretary Ben Carson said the grants “support our broader goal of ending or preventing homelessness as we know it.”  Read more here:
