Kelsey Brewer currently serves and the Policy and Legislative Affairs Director for the Association of California Cities, Orange County. Her portfolio of policy expertise includes: transportation planning, technology integration, affordable housing development, workforce development, and homelessness policy. She is a believer in collaboration and best practice sharing to overcome policy issues.Prior to her role at ACC-OC, Kelsey served on the California State University Board of Trustee as an appointee of Governor Jerry Brown. During her time on the Board, Kelsey oversaw initiatives to increase graduation rates for marginalized communities, update Title 9 compliance standards, and address the increasing number of food and housing insecure students attending CSU campuses.
Kelsey is a proud Titan and graduate of Cal State Fullerton with a degree in Political Science, and two minors in Liberal Studies and Women’s Studies. In her free time Kelsey works with the Orange County Young Democrats to educate people on social justice issues in Orange County, and works to connect individuals to the issues they care about most.
